Panaji: The state is likely to witness high-voltage political developments with Bengal Head Minister Mamata Banerjee will visit Goa on October 28 after the TMC decided to oppose the election of the upcoming assembly in the state.

A political observer said that with Banerjee arrived in the state, a local TMC unit had to wear a detailed plan to have a big launch to show their presence in the state.
The source said that TMC party workers held a busy meeting with regional parties, including MLA, to convince them to join TMC in front of the election in Goa.
The source said that it was possible that Banerjee might have a general meeting in the state and public meeting.
The source said that some MLA could join TMC during their visit to the country.
The source said during his visit, Banerjee will also meet many politicians and social activists, among others, to understand land reality and make them join TMC.
This will be the first visit of Banerjee outside Bengal after winning the third term as cm.
He is projected as an alternative to PM Narendra Modi after an impressive Trinamool victory over BJP in the assembly poll.
Recently, former Minister of Main Luizinho Faleiro and the Navelim Legislator resigned as a member of the Goa legislature and joined TMC.
He was appointed as TMC National Vice President on Friday.
MLA Independent of Sanguem Prasad Gaonkar has promised his support to TMC and his supporters have joined TMC.
Former Ponda Mla Lavoo Mamland also joined TMC.
