Kolkata: In the background of several party leaders stirred controversy with a public statement, Minister of Mamata Banerjee’s head on Thursday explained that he would devote more time for party organizations in Bengal.
Banerjee was quoted told his party MPS: “I have a lot of work.
But from now on, I also have to keep some organizational work.
If you face a problem, please contact me.” CM also asked the MPS Party to consult with the Bandyopadhyay Sudip and Party MLAS To consult with the Partha Chatterjee and Bakshi Subrata for any problems related to parties.
According to sources, Banerjee urged leaders not to talk about any parties related problems or towards any party leaders in public.
Banerjee also made him unhappy with the Arambagh MP party, Aparoopa Poddar, for talking to MP Kalyan Banerjee even after Chatterjee, the Secretary General of the Party, urged the leaders to stop issuing public statements.
Chatterjee had intervened after Kalyan openly questioned the National Secretary General of Abhishek Banerjee, pushing a strong reaction first from Kunal Ghosh, then from Poddar and Madan Mitra.
Banerjee’s statement also came ahead of the party’s February 2 poll, which would likely repeat it as party chairman.
The party must also complete all committees on March 31.
The poll organization came amid the ongoing intra-party discussion about the one-post-one formula, which could cause senior leaders to hold several posts to open new Indukea roads.
