NEW DELHI: Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee on Saturday made her nephew Abhishek Banerjee since the party’s national general secretary.
Mamata Banerjee chaired an organisational meeting of their celebration in Kolkata on Saturday, which was attended by survey strategist Prashant Kishor.
Talking to the press, TMC pioneer Partha Chatterjee reported that the party’s working committee has determined on a one-person-one-post formulation, and for that reason the reshuffles within.
Other significant appointments created through Saturday’s meeting comprise journalist-turned-politician Kunal Ghosh being forced TMC nation general secretary.
Actor-turned-politician Sayoni Ghosh was forced the party’s youth wing president a post before owned by Abhishek.
Partha Chatterjee reported that no discussion has been held on turncoats, who’d stopped the TMC before the assembly polls, and so are willing to go back to the party fold.
