Man, 26, was held for stealing 20 rulers of gold jewelry

Coimbation: City Police arrested a 26-year-old man on Thursday because of stealing 20 sovereign gold ornaments from his neighbor’s house in Senthil Janatha Nagar on the ondipudur.
The person arrested was identified as Sudhannu, a native of Kalakkad in the Tirunelveli district.
He worked as the contractor of the autorickshaw driver in a private company warehouse on the ondipudur and lived in a rented house on the first floor of a building in Senthil Janatha Nagar with his friends.
Syed Ibrahim, 30, an employee of a private company living on the ground floor of the building, has filed a complaint of the police who said that 29 sovereign gold ornaments were stolen from his home.
He had gone to his hometown 10 days ago with his family.
He returned on Monday night to find the open door and gold lost.
Meanwhile, Arjunan, who lives on the first floor of the building, also submitted a complaint to say that the three sovereignty of the gold ornaments were stolen from his home.
“Abraham’s wife has promised the sovereignty of gold ornaments without her knowledge to help her father.
So, Ibrahim resigned and filed another complaint stating that 20 sovereign gold ornaments were stolen,” said a police officer.
“Arjunan complaints turned out to be fake.” TNN.
