Chennai: A 27-year-old man who allegedly made a threat of a hoax bomb to Actor Vijay’s House was arrested on Monday.
The police said the man was identified as S Bhuvaneshwaran from Markukaam in the Villupuram district.
At Wee hours on Monday, the call was made to the main control room at the State Police Headquarters from a bomb placed at Actor Vijay’s house in Chennai.
A bomb detective and disposal force (BDDS) and the sniffer dog team sent to the place in Neelankarai and the threat was found as a hoax.
Based on complaints from actor managers, a registered case.
The police team traced the cellphone to Markakanam and arrested Bhuvanesharan.
The police said the defendant had made a call like that in the past too.
