Man arrested for attacking a woman, son

KOLLAM: The Parvoor police on Wednesday arrested a 50-year-old man because he attacked a mother and child on behalf of the Moral Police in the Thekkumboord near Paravoor recently.
The defendant was identified as Shamsudeen, from the Manzil assistant, thekkumbhagam, Paravoor.
Shamla and greetings, Kollam Natives, from returned after treatment in the government of MCH, Thiruvananthapuram.
While they stopped their car to have food near the Thekkumbhagam beach, Shamsudeen offered them.
Even though they told him that they were mothers and children, he began to shower them.
When they tried to move, he destroyed the car windshield and beat them with an iron rod.
Next, Shamsudeen fled and tried to escape to Tamil Nadu.
Based on the tip-off received by the Police Commissioner T Narayanan, the police arrested him from Edpperalayam nearbyala.
When Shamla complained to the Parvoor police, the defendant sent her sister to file a complaint that Shamla’s car hit her goat.
But the police found that there was no such incident that happened and identified the case of the sister to be false.
Shamla said that there was a police attempt to resolve this case by showing that the defendant also filed a complaint against them.
Shamala showed that the police could catch Shamsudeen on Tuesday night itself, but they did not do it.
“The police asked me whether I was interested in chasing the case quoting that Shamsudeen had used medical care at Mayyanadu Hospital.
How could he use medical help if our car crashed into his goat.
There were no such events,” Shamala said.
“They want to play it and now they claim that they have arrested the defendant full of adventures,” he said.
