MUZAFFARNAGAR:”A shopkeeper was arrested on Friday for allegedly trying to rape a little girl in a village in Uttar Pradesh’s Shamli district,” officials said.
An instance has been registered in this respect at Ghari Pukhta police station beneath applicable Sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
According to criticism made by the victim’s loved ones, the episode happened when she moved the store run from the accused, Tariqat, to purchase something.
“She cried for the guy rushed off,” police said.
