Coimbatore: A 29-year-old Gamarampudur resident in Pollachi, who married relatively three months ago, fatally burned him on Thursday.
The police identified him as P Ramesh, son of MUSAL, 55, from Vinayagar Temple Street.
“He worked as a driver at a textile store and married his relatives, a native of Tuticorin, three months ago.
He used to fight with him, blame him because of being overweight.
On Thursday 11:30, when Ramesh spoke with someone by telephone, his wife asked him.
He walked out of the house, collected gasoline from a motorcycle, watered himself and burned himself.
Even though the neighbors put out the fire, Ramesh suffered severe burns and died on the spot, “police said.
