Man called the police before he burned to death in Tamil Nadu

Chennai: Some villagers in the Tiruvallur district on Saturday morning saw a man, his body enveloped the fire, shouted and ran across the police and the police alert.
What the villagers did not know was that a few minutes earlier that the man had called some of his relatives who claimed six men had burned it.
While the man, identified as L Gopinathan Nalur, died in the Wee Sunday days in the Kilparuk Medical College and Hospital (KMC) in Chennai, the police suspected it became a suicide case because he was seen buying gasoline at a fuel station at Locality.
Around 11 o’clock in the morning, Saturday, a police officer, Gopinathan, a pump operator who governed, a surprising resident when he injured Ascross a river in Nallur, which was burned, shouting that six men had burned it.
The villagers poured fire and took him to the Ponneri government hospital from where he shifted to the KMC where he died early on Sunday.
Minjur police, who registered suspicious death cases, began asking to help ensure the identity of gang members and also began scanning recordings from CCTV cameras in the village.
One shows Gopinathan in his bicycle filling gasoline for the vehicle and also filling the bottle before heading to the house.
Immediately, the investigation revealed that he was not married, but had a separate relationship with two married women.
“Every time his family members asked him to get married, he ignored their suggestions and continued to avoid it,” said a police officer.
He also told his friends that he faced a problem from women owned by women.
“Detailed probes to find out the cause of death,” the officer said.
Some neighbors Gopinathan told the police that they did not pay attention to the movement of foreigners in the area.
The police said they did not ignore their visits and tried to find out if there was a previous hostility between Gopinathan and any gang.
Prima facie, it seems to be a suicide case, the officer said.
