Hyderabad: A man died when a air gun was allegedly purifying in a house in a village in the Siddipet district in Telangana on Thursday, police said.
The man (around 20), who lived in Hyderabad, was visiting the village along with his friends and they saw the air gun at home after midnight when it went accidentally, they said.
The man, a student, was beaten and he was taken to the nearest hospital.
But, he was referred to the hospital in Siddipet, about 100 km from Hyderabad.
He was declared taken dead there, they said.
The police, who received information about the incident, said investigations were ensuring various details, including who had a air gun.
The parents of the deceased were told and they would arrive at the scene soon.
The case will be registered after receiving an official complaint, he added.
