Ghaziabad: A guy was detained Wednesday night for posing as a cop and also taking out a forged authorities ID card.
Authorities stated Zuber Chaudhary, by Muradnagar, was discontinued on the street as part of routine tests during curfew hours.
“About 10 pm, we watched the guy riding a bicycle.
We requested him to quit because we had been asking people why they had been outside during curfew hours.
Zuber told me he had been a constable by UP Police.
In addition, he showed a police ID card and also let him move,” said Prabhat Dixit, SHO, Bhojpur.
“We stopped him because we had any doubts and this moment he also drove his ID card in a nearby garbage dump.
We have hold of this card checked his information in UP Police documents.
But nothing can be discovered,” he further added.
“Afterwards, the guy said that he used the ID card toll plazas, restaurants and even assess articles.
We’re searching for out just how he acquired the card” Dixit said.
An FIR was logged against Zuber under sections 188 (disobedience to purchase duly promulgated by people slave ), 420 (punishment for adulterous ) and 419 (punishment for cheating by impersonation) of this IPC.
He was born in court and remanded in judicial custody.
