Man killed a cousin for RS 8,000 in Patna

Patna: One Chotu Kewat (22) was stabbed to death allegedly by his cousin Jaggu (20) for RS 8,000 near Pani Tank under the Mehendiganj police station on Saturday night.
The police arrested the Jaggu near the Patna Sahib train station around midnight.
The police said they were living together with other family members because they lost their parents.
Both are bets every day.
Mehendiganj Sho Dharmendra Kumar said Chotu had borrowed RS8000 from Jagu a few months ago.
“Around 9pm on Saturday, the dispute was broken up with the money.
Jaggu took a vegetable knife and stabbed Chotu under his navy.
He rushed to NMC but died on the road because of excessive bleeding,” he added.
Sho said the Jaggu tried to take the train to Kolkata but the police arrested him near the train station.
He said their uncle, Raman Kewat had filed a brilliant against Jagu because he killed Chotu.
The police recovered the body restored the body of Sanjeev Kumar aka Kallu (26) from Ganga near Kangan Ghat under the Chowk police station in Patna City on Sunday.
Chowk Sho Gauri Shankar Gupta said the deceased belonged to Ranipur under the Mehendiganj police station area.
Gupta said he was reported missing since Friday.
He said locals told the police that Sanjeev was seen hanging around the body of water connected with the river near Kangan Ghat on Friday.
Maybe a suicide case or sink, he said.
