Man killed Brother-in-law at Coimbatore for family disputes

Coimbatore: A 26-year-old construction worker was killed by his brother-in-law on the street street in Kaveran Nagar at Ramanathapuram in early Friday morning.
City police have formed a special team to arrest the killer.
The deceased was identified as C Muthu, 26, a native resident of Kettle Village near Pennagaram in the Dharmapuri district.
He is a construction worker.
Police said a group of construction workers from Dharmapuri Regency had built a temporary warehouse with a cement sheet roof on Selvam’s vacant land in Church Street at Kaveri Nagar in Coimbatore City in Ramanathapuram.
Muthu also lives in one of the warehouses.
Sister Elder Muthu Muthulakshmi, married to Paja, a resident of Palacode in the Dharmapuri District, 17 years ago and the couple had two daughters.
The king and Muthulakhshmi were also involved with construction work and often visited Coimbatore.
The king suspects his wife’s character and often with him.
On January 10, 2022, Muthulakshmi returned to the house late at night and her husband was under the influence of alcohol, fighting with him.
Unable to bear his torment, Muthulakshmi submitted a complaint with the Palacode of all the women’s police offices against her husband and police conducted an investigation with the couple.
He told the police that he was not interested in leading life with the king and he planned to divorce him.
The police have collected written statements from the couple and sent them back to their homes.
Muthulakshmi came to Coimbatore on February 2 and lived in a warehouse while her younger brother.
On Thursday, Muthu and his sister Muthlaxhmi went for construction work and returned to the warehouse in the afternoon.
On Friday about 1 in the morning, Muthlaxhmi had opened a temporary warehouse door and went to the restroom.
Meanwhile the husband of the king hiding nearby, rushed into a temporary warehouse and attacked his brother-in-law Muthu with a hammer.
He managed to escape from that place.
Muthulakshmi returned to the warehouse and found her brother in a pool of blood.
He warned the neighbors who took him to Coimbatore Medical College and hospitals on motorbikes and the doctors stated that Muthu died at around 1:40 a.m.
The population warned Ramanathapuram police who rushed to the place and held an investigation with Muthulakshmi and his neighbors.
The police registered a case against the king below 302 (murder) and 449 (Trespass House to commit violations that could be punished by death) from the Criminal Procedure Code.
The police said the killer King thought that his brother-in-law, Muthu supported his sister Muthulakshmi.
Just followed his support, he separated from him.
In anger, he killed Muthu.
