Man killed father-in-law for family disputes

Hyderabad: The 55-year-old Mason was stabbed to death by his son-in-law due to a family dispute at Kagaznagar, Bheem Asifabad Kumans Regency on Tuesday.
The deceased is G Gangaram, 55, a resident of Shivapuram Village near Kagaznagar City.
Gangaram was a Mason and four years ago, his daughter Priyanka, fell in love with a car driver, P Gopi, 26, and married him.
After marriage, Gopi began working with Gangaram.
“Gopi is irregular to work and because of his irresponsible attitude, Gangadhar finally stopped calling Gopi to work.
When Gangadhar began to support his other relatives in stone work, Gopi became angry and had several arguments with him,” Kagaznagar Circle Inspector (CI).
Said D Mohan.
Suspecting that Gopi might harass Priyanka because of family disputes, a week ago, Gangadhar moved to Kagaznagar City and began living with his daughter’s family.
“At 12:30 a.m.
on Tuesday, Gopi took an argument with Gangadhar about not giving him a job and during a fight, suddenly stabbed him in the chest with a knife,” he said.
With a severe injury, Gangadhar collapsed on the spot and Gopi escaped from home.
Priyanka, with the help of a neighbor, rushed Gangadhar to the nearest hospital where he was declared dead, CI said.
The murder case was registered against Gopi under the 302 part of the IPC and a hunting man was launched to arrest him.
