Jaipur: A man allegedly killed his father to slap his son in Banswara Rajasthan district, police said on Tuesday.
The man, Jayanti, allegedly beat his father in the village so Tandvadla Gram Panchayat on Sunday night, they said.
Vesta (50) has slapped his eight-year-old granddaughter because he was guilty with him.
It was angry, the child asked a neighbor to call his father, who worked as a laborer in Gujarat, said Kushalgarh Station House officer (Sho) said Pradeep Kumar.
The grandfather died on Monday, he said.
Post-Mortem has done and the report is waiting for, said Sho, adding that the defendant was arrested on Tuesday.
He said it seemed that the man died of several internal injuries because he might be hit.
The defendant told the police that he did not know that his father would die from injury.
He said he thought of bringing his father to the hospital the next morning when they lived in a hilly area, but he had died at that time.
The police said Jayanti’s son lived with his grandparents in Rajasthan while the rest of his family and family lived in Gujarat neighbors for getting their livelihoods.
