By: Debabrata Shome Kolkata: A 35-year-old woman allegedly killed by her husband on the terrace of her employer’s residence, where she worked for the past 16 months.
The defendant was surrounded by locals before he tried to cut his own throat to commit suicide.
The incident was reported from the E-Block of Ramgarh under the Netaji Nagar Police Station at around 1.30 a night on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as a Bibi Samiran.
The condition of her husband Sabir Mullick (38) was seriously declared at the CNMC Hospital.
“We ensure all the motives that might be behind the efforts of murder and suicide,” said DC (SSD) Rashid Munir Khan.
