Greater Noida: A man who allegedly killed his wife who suffered from Elephantiasis by strangling him in the Suttyana area of the District Police Office Ecotech III on Sunday.
Kundan Kumar, who works at a mattress making plant, killed his wife Lakshmi (22) following the argument on Sunday.
According to the police, Kundan married Lakshmi a year back but he was not happy with the relationship.
Lakshmi’s sister Chanda Kumari told the police that her sister had an elephant in her leg which made them extraordinary swollen.
About one and a half months back, the couple came to stay at Ajypal’s house alias Ajju in the village of Sutyana Greater Noida (West) where the sister of the woman also lived.
“He was not happy with marriage from the start and would usually fight with my sister over a small problem.
On Sunday night, my brother-in-law again fought with my sister and strangled her with a vast rope before escaping from the place,” he thought.
His sister who was in another room in the same building found him lying faint on the ground.
The police said that the incident occurred around 4:45 a.m.
on Sunday.
“The woman who suffocated with a wide belt type rope was found near her body,” said Ecotech III Sho Bhubanesh Kumar.
He added that Kundan fled from the place after killing his wife, but when his sister told the police when he saw Lakshmi’s body lying on the ground.
A fired fired against Kundan under the 302 IPC (murder) and he was arrested by the police later on Monday.
In another incident in Kheda Chauganpur Village, a young man in his twenties allegedly stabbed by two after a dispute and fight.
According to police Ecotech III, two young men who were identified as Ajay and Vijay allegedly stabbed the brother of the transfer agent after the dispute.
Satendra Bhati agent who has a shop in Kheda Chauganpur village in West Greater Noida accused that Ajay who was accused of arriving at his shop on Sunday night and asked to transfer RS.

The Ecotech III police have submitted FIR below the IPC 504 section (intentional insults with the intention to provoke peace violations), 506 (criminal intimidation), 307 (efforts to kill) and 34 against Ajay and Vijay.
Police arrested Vijay on Monday while Ajay continued to run away.
