Ghaziabad: A 19-year-old man allegedly killed by his girlfriend’s brother, who was not happy with their relationship, with the help of two friends.
The police said the trio attacked Karan Kumar with a blunt object and slit his throat with a knife.
His body was found on a farm in Khanpur Japti Village on Wednesday.
All three were accused of being arrested on Thursday, police said.
Karan Kumar, according to the police, is a student of a private college in Ghaziabad and lives in the Puja colony in the city of Tronica Loni.
Dr.
Iraj Raza, SP (rustic) told TI that Karan had a relationship with the girl who lived in the same area.
“Investigations revealed that Amit – the sister – opposed their relationship.
Amit had threatened her sister and Karan with terrible consequences if they did not stop talking to each other,” he said.
“When the researchers went to Amit’s house to be questioned on Wednesday, he was not at home.
On Thursday, the police team arrested him.
During the interrogation, Amit claimed to have killed Karan with the help of Sunny and Pradeep, the other two accused this case,” said Raza.
To execute crime, according to the police, Amit asked for help from his friends.
On Tuesday morning, Amit named Karan and went to Delhi along with Sunny and Pradeep for trips.
A senior police officer said during the day, they visited several places in Delhi and they were drunk in a place near the Yamuna River in Ghaziabad at night.
“After some time, Amit tells his friends and Karan that he will go home because he drinks too much.
Pradeep and Sunny bring Karan to Khanpur Japti for more drinks.
But Amit has reached Khanpur Japti and ready with a knife.
So Pradeep and Sunny reached the point of crime with Karan, accused of hit Karan’s head with a heavy object and then used a knife to tarnish his throat.
Then they left the body in place and escape, “Raza said.
The three were arrested and ordered under Section 302 (punishment for murder) IPC.
They were then sent to Judicial custody on Friday.
