Man Lost ₹ 6L in Sextori on a dating application

Thane: 36-year-old furniture contractor from Bhayander – married to children – falling prey to extortion rackets in the dating application and losing Rs 6.3 lakh after the defendant attacked and threatened him.
Between June and July 10, 2021, the defendant – who identified himself as Nisha – befriended him in the application.
He invited him to date in Thane City.
He took him to a private residence, lured him with sex promises.
But once there, his accomplice struggled black and blue and demanded Rs 10 lakh if he did not want to be denounced.
“The defendant took his wife’s credit card and his wife and attracted Rs 6.3 lakh.
They also erased all conversations between victims and accused removing evidence,” said an officer with police Shree Nagar.
The police have registered the NA case against seven people.
