Man Out for Evening Walk Shot in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad: A 35-year-old man came out for the night walk shot by a group of people in Masturi.
He was injured on his shoulders and is currently being treated at a private hospital.
Police said the victim was identified as Pawan Kumar, a resident of Masuri Village.
His brother Akash said he had stepped out around 6pm.
Half an hour later, some neighbors told the family about the incident.
“We ran to the place and hurried to take him to the nearest hospital but therefore did not start treatment, we took him to another private hospital,” he said.
Police Station Masuri Sho Shailendra Singh said based on complaints, a FIR was registered with unknown people under the IPC part 307 (trying to murder).
A senior police officer said several eyewitnesses said several people approached Kumar, after that there was an argument that was heated between them.
“But the reason behind the crime is unknown,” he added.
