Gurgaon: A man was arrested on Sundays for allegedly persecuting a woman on the bus and hurt him.
According to the police, the crime took place on Friday night when the complainant was on his way home.
“After completing the work, the 26-year-old child took a bus from IFFCO Chowk.
The bus was crowded and after a while he and the defendant had an argument,” said a police officer.
Following the argument, the man began throwing a violation and touching the woman inappropriately.
He also accused the man “pulling his hand and biting his thumb”.
In accordance with the woman, the man fled so the other passengers advanced to face him.
The police confirmed that the woman had received a minor injury to her thumb.
“Initially, the argument had begun to share a chair which further increased into a fight,” the officer added.
After being investigated, the police identified the man and approached him at his residence in Bilaspur, and arrested him.
FIR is registered at the Bilaspur Police Station below section 323 (causing injury), 506 (criminal intimidation), 504 (persecution), 509 (to insult the modesty of wherever) IPC.
