Ahmedabad: Gandhinagar District Police in Gujarat on Monday arrested a 26-year-old worker for allegedly raping three small girls, between 3 and 7 years old, and killed one of them in ten days, officials said.
Surprisingly, the defendant, Vijay Thakor, sexually attacked his latest victim, a three-year-old girl, after killing him.
He then threw away his body as a culverts, said Inspector General of Police (Gandhinagar Range) Abhay Chudasama.
“The defendant married a daughter.
He has a heretic mentality, perhaps because of the habit of watching porn.
Until now, he claimed to have raped three small girls aged 3, 5 and 7 years and killed one of them.
He has been sent in police custody arriving November 11 for further investigation, “IGP told reporters in Gandhinagar.
Police Santej in Gandhinagar District has received complaints from a worker who lives near the village of Rancharda who accused that an unknown man kidnapped his five-year-old daughter on November 4 and left him in a remote place on the same day on the same day.
The girl’s medical examination confirmed that she was raped, said Chudasama, added that the Santej industrial area had several non-Gujarati industrial workers settlements.
Two days later, the police Santej received another complaint stating that a 3-year-old girl had been kidnapped on November 5 from Shanty Emergency near the intersection of Khatraj.
After scanning CCTV recordings and gathering information from locals, the police focused on Thakor, casual workers from Vansjada Village in Kalol Taluka, said Chudasama.
“He claimed to have raped the five-year-old girl and also the three-year-old girl,” IGP said.
He said Thakor killed the three-year-old girl because he shouted too much and then raped him before throwing his body in the culverts.
The body has been restored by the police, he added.
Chudasama said the defendant had lured a five-year-old victim by offering it to buy new clothes.
In the second case, Thakor entered the three-year-old girl’s hut when everyone fell asleep at night and took him away, he said.
“During the interrogation, Thakor claimed to have raped a 7-year-old girl about ten more days in the same area.
He first grabbed the girl’s cellphone forcing him to follow him.
He then kidnapped him and raped him.
