Pune: Residents of Khadki (42) suffered 75% burns after he burned his wrist and burned me near the gate number 3 from the office of Pune’s commissioner on Wednesday Noon on suspicion of delays in getting a character verification certificate.
He rushed to a private hospital in Kasba Peth with burns into his hands, chest and face.
His condition was reportedly important.

On Wednesday, he visited the police commissioner’s office and asked the police in the verification section near the gate number 3 about the status of his request.
After being told that verification would take time, he took drastic steps, police said.
Verification spends time because his name is identical to criminals on police records, police said.
Pune Commissioner of Police (CP) Amitabh Gupta said, “This is a unfortunate incident.
We will see priority issues.” Deputy Police Commissioner (Special Branch) Mitesh Ghatte said, “Other men with the same full name have serious cases registered in the office Kothrud police, Samarth and Sahakarnagar.
Two police stations verify the petition of Khadki men and have answered negatively (no case against him).
