Noida: Noida resident was hospitalized after being shot during a broken clash exploded from the fire department in Diwali, officials said on Friday.
The person who opened the fire was arrested for the incident that took place on Thursday night in Garhi Chaukhandi Village, under the limit of the Phase 3 police station, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Noida Central) said Chander.
“The clash erupted between two sides in the village because someone asked the others not to explode firecrackers outside their store.
First they have heated up the argument, then involved in a physical duel after one person issued a licensed gun and fired a shot, hurt his relatives, “The officer said.
“The person who was accused of opening the fire was arrested.
The licensed gun has been confiscated and injured being undergoing hospital treatment,” DCP said.
A pine has been put forward at the Phase 3 Police Station and further legal processes are being carried out, police said.
