Kanpur: A man shot dead his son’s friend with his licensed pistol following a drunk fight in the Kolony of Ratapur EWS Paski on Wednesday night.
According to reports, the man has tried to stop the fight between his two sons and their friends, but lose his emotions and fired a shot from a licensed single barrel pistol.
Police for getting information rushed to the place and restored the gun and arrested the defendant and his two sons.
Triyogi Naraian aka Rakesh, a resident of Kolony Ranganpur, is a security guard in a private company a few years ago.
About 22 years ago, he had taken a license for a single barrel pistol.
He has two sons, Sonu and Monu, who works as laborers in the area.
According to the police, Sonu has a friendship close to his 25-year-old painter Dharmendra Pal, a resident of the same area.
On Wednesday night, Dharmendra was sitting in a shop in the area, when Monu won there was drunk.
Then, Monu signed a fight with Dharmendra for some problems after the last one began to struggle.
When Monu’s brother, Sonu came to save him, Dharmendra also attacked him.
In the coming of the commotion, Monu’s father and Sonu Triyogi Narayan rushed to the place and tried to calm the battle between their son and friend Dharmendra.
However, then when Dharmendra used a brick at Triyogi’s house, he brought his licensed pistol and opened fire on Dharmendra.
The bullet hit Dharmendra’s neck and he fainted.
He was taken to the nearest hospital, where the doctor stated he died.
The police who were told reached the place and took allegations and two of his sons to detention and seized firearms after restoring him from his house.
The police shifted the body to the corpse.
“A fir has been submitted under the parts of IPC and relevant investigations,” said DCP West Sanjiv Tyagi.
