New Delhi: A 25-year-old man from Uttarakhand perched allegedly at the pool at a farmhouse in the area of Maidan Garhi Delhi Selatan, police said on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Shubham Rawat, they said.
On Tuesday at 9:20 a.m., the Maidan Garhan police station received information from the Safdarjung Hospital that care was taken to hospital from a farmhouse in Dera Village and he was declared dead, a senior police officer said.
The police reached the hospital and collected Medico-legal cases from the deceased.
The body was shifted to the morgue.
Maintained remaining rent in Mahipalpur in the city, police said.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the incident occurred in a farmhouse and the man did not know how to swim.
It was revealed that care was used to work as a waiter in a hotel.
On the night intervention Monday and Tuesday, he had organized a gathering with his colleagues at the farmhouse, police said.
There was a swimming pool in the backyard of the farm and treated the pool with several of his colleagues.
Then, they came out of the pool.
His colleagues noticed that care was not there and then found that he was immersed in the pool.
It was also revealed that the deceased did not know how to swim.
The case below 304a (causing deaths from negligence) from the Criminal Code has been registered with the owner of the farmhouse.
Further investigation is underway, the police added.
