New Delhi: An unknown man was found depending on the ceiling fan in a police chamber in Sarita Vihar Delhi Southeast on Wednesday morning, police said.
The man was around 30 and there were no suicide records recovering from the place, they said.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast) Esha Pandey said that at around 8:45 a.m., Constable Bharat told the Sarita Vihar police station that a man was found hanging on Madanpur Khaddar police outlets.
“When our staff rushed to the place, a man around 30 years old was found hanging from the booth ceiling fan.
The booth door was found locked from the inside.
The person rushed to AIIMS where he was declared dead,” he said.

The key is stored on the window threshold.
The victim found him and entered the booth, he added.
There were no injuries seen found on physical examination of the body, police said, adding the body to be maintained and effort was made to track the deceased’s identity.
