Kolhapur: The Kolhapur session court on Wednesday sent one person arrested for deceiving Investors of Rs 58 Lakh to police custody for 10 days.
On Tuesday, a case was registered against six people, including Kedar Ranade, who had been arrested after Suresh Vankudre (49) nested in filing a complaint against Ranade because he cheated him from Rs 58 Lakh for five years.
Even though FIR has been registered in Vankudre, the police claim a total of five people have been cheated.
The victims were asked to invest in Cryptocurrency to get a return of 180% in the form of Bitcoin.
Rajesh Gawali, Shahupuri Station Police Inspector, said, “Ranade began investment consultations.
He, along with his legs who lived in Pune and Delhi, worked to get investments in Cryptocurrency.
Vankudre and several others have invested the number for 5 years.
We have been investigating Order Ranade and his accomplice.
We will investigate this case and submit a corresponding cost sheet.
“For the first time, crimes involving investment in the Cryptocurrency as big as it has appeared in Kolhapur.
Police Kolhapur appealed to residents to advance if they have been cheated in the same way.
