MINNEAPOLIS: A St.
Paul man accused of speeding and driving right into a bunch of protesters at Minneapolis while he had been drunk, killing a single man, was charged Wednesday with willful second-degree murder.
Prosecutors state Nicholas Kraus, 35, was clearly drunk Sunday night after he awakened and attempted to”leap” a car which has been being employed as a barricade from protesters from the city’s Uptown area.
Deona Knajdek, 31, has been murdered.

Authorities said protesters pulled Kraus out of his car and witnesses reported demonstrators struck him.
Kraus was detained and treated for injuries at a hospital.
Kraus includes five convictions for driving while decreasing dating back into a 2007 episode, according to online court documents.
