Surat: A 31-year-old girl from Uttar Pradesh, living in Palanpur place, suffered burn injuries after her husband drove inflammable compound on her head on Friday.
Rashmi Gautam, that functions as a domestic assistance, told cops who Guddu Gautam, whom she’d divorced in October this past year, threw a compound in her Friday morning.
Rashmi suffered burn injuries in her left eye, chest and nose and is undergoing treatment in a private hospital, so that the cops informed.Although not positive when the accused employed acid or never, the authorities have booked him under IPC department 326(A) (voluntarily causing grievous harm by usage of acidity, etc) along with other divisions.
“It had been an inflammable compound and we’ve delivered the sample of exactly the exact same into FSL to determine just what it had been,” stated sub-inspector Y G Girnar of all Rander police channel.
On Saturday, Guddu was arrested and has been held under quarantine prior to the compulsory Covid-19 test.
Police stated that Rashmi, Together with her kids, transferred to Surat in Uttar Pradesh after divorcing Guddu at October.
Suspecting Rashmi of having a affair with another guy, Guddu was able to overcome her after becoming drunk, which caused the divorce.
About 10 days ago, Guddu arrived at Surat and Rashmi permitted him to remain with her.
But soon Guddu again began checking her phone from feeling.
He beat her after becoming drunk after which Rashmi barred him from going into the home.
On Friday afternoon, when she’d leave from work and had been resting in the home, Guddu assaulted her and returned with her cell phone.
