LONDON: Manchester City have made a bid of 100 million pounds (138 million bucks ) into Tottenham to England captain Harry Kane, according to reports on Monday.
Kane, 27, has openly voiced his desire to add prizes to his exceptional goalscoring record and is thought to be keen on a move away from his boyhood club .
Sky Sports noted that Spurs are predicted to deny the bidding with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy carrying out to 120 million pounds because of his precious asset.
Regardless of Kane winning the Golden Boot for best goalscorer and best aid provider last year, Spurs finished seventh in the Premier League and overlooked the Champions League for the second successive year.
By comparison, City maintained a third Premier League title in four seasons, but missing out to the club’s first Champions League by losing 1-0 in the final to Chelsea.
The British champions are searching for a substitute for all time high goalscorer Sergio Aguero, that has abandoned City following 10 years to combine Barcelona.
Kane is to acquire any significant decoration for state or club.
He’s hoping to change this next month in Euro 2020, however, his championship has got off to a slow beginning.
Gareth Southgate has replaced his own skipper in the two games, from Croatia and Scotland, and Kane has failed to evaluate.
But, Southgate has confirmed Kane will begin Tuesday’s final Group D game against the Czech Republic.
“I understand there’ll be a good deal of questions being asked about him right now but he’s been during that 100 days previously,” Southgate said on Sunday.
“I’ve replied that many times before and he’s produced the aims which have won us the upcoming matches and I hope it to be the exact same moving ahead.”
