While some mandals criticized the authority for Covid-19 restrictions during the Ganesha festival, two groups in Koppal collaborated with the Ministry of Health to regulate vaccination camps for worshipers.
On Saturday, 172 people were affixed.
The carrier of the Sri office of Geleyara Balaga, Simpi Linganna Road, said that their associations generally organized activities such as blood donors and young tree plantations during the Ganesha festival.
“We used to celebrate for five days.
Respect the government’s decision, we reduce the event to three days.
We have a free day on our schedule, so we are thinking of holding a vaccination camp,” Office-Bearer said.
Ninety people are affixed to the camp.
Indracheela said Mandali partner, Indrakeela Nagar, also traveled.
“During the meeting, many women emphasized the need for vaccinations.
Residents previously faced difficulties because of the unavailability of vaccines or busy routines.
So, we decided to hold a camp.
Eighty-two residents took advantage of the benefits,” said an office carrier.
