JAMSHEDPUR: In the midst of fear of Spurt in the Covid-19 case, the administration of the East Singbhum Regency has made the Eastern Antigen (RAT) test for the District Entry Point starting 1.
Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar has asked health workers to conduct required tests to test all visitors At Inter and Intra District checkpoints from November 1 to 30.
“During this period, all visitors who entered the district must be mandatory to undergo rat tests,” said an official.
DC has directed the health department to place officials in two shifts for a period of 15 days each starting at 6am to 10 nights every day at the time.
Some of these points are the Kharkai River Bridge, connect the Seramala with Bistupur; Toll bridge, connecting Kadma with Gamharia; Bridge Domingi, connecting Sonari with Dobo; Pardih Chowk, connecting mangoes with chandil; Write points in Baharagora, Katin and Potka.
In addition, the terminus of the Mango remote bus and the Tatanagar train station has been identified for this purpose.
The decision has been taken because it is possible that people will arrive here in the district to celebrate Diwali and Chhat with family and friends.
Officials at the checkpoint will see that each individual uses a face mask and maintains social distance, while undergoing a Covid-19 test.
People who do not comply with the protocol will be charged with the DM Law.
Significantly, in the last 13 days, 40 Covid cases have been reported including one death on Wednesday.
