Mandatory school uniforms in Kerala from December 13

T’Puram: Education Minister V Sivankutty on Saturday said the uniform would be made mandatory in schools from December 13.
The decision, the Minister said, was to clean up confusion about the identity of school students when using facilities such as bus tariff concessions.
Schools for different hostels and schools can be continued on December 8, he said.
Different public school students can also begin attending classes in schools from December 8.
According to Sivankutty, the government has decided to provide additional 72 sanctions plus one batch reports that the school in 21 marks faces a lack of seats.
The new batch will consist of 61 science batches, 61 Batch Humanities and 10 trading batches.
