Margao: Landslide between Dudhsagar and Sonaulim Train Stations on the South Western Railway (SWR) route caused Deletting 01134 Mangaluru JN-CSSMT Mumbai Train on Friday morning.
Railroad officials said that no victims reported in the incident.
Other landslides occur in the same part between Dudhsagar and Caranzol train stations around the same time.
SWR officials said that the Mangaluru-Mumbai train ran on the route diverted on the SWR when the engine and coach first slipped.
Passengers from coaches who slipped shifted to other coaches and trains back to Kulem Train Station.
Train 02780 Nizamuddin-Vasco was arrested between Dudhsagar and Caranzol stations and then taken to the Castlock train station.
Passenger transhipments are being carried out by bus to various locations.
Track restoration work has been done.
