Mangaluru: Congress, the main opposition party at Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC), was suspected of corruption in the new BJP proposal in power to buy vehicles and submit the same to collect the door waste to the door through private institutions.
At a special board meeting held recently, MCC has approved the DPR to get a vehicle to collect the door waste to the door and outsourcing the operation and maintenance of the system, after a seven-year contract with the cell handling Antony (AWHC) waste ended in January next year.
