Mangaluru: Filling Fuel Woes Leaving CNG Users Worried

Mangaluru: The driver uses compressed natural gas (CNG) complains about waiting long – more than two hours – to make their vehicles refuel in Mangaluru.
Frustrated, a group of same-minded people have formed Dakshina Kannada Zilla CNG Balekadarara Sangha (CNG User Association) to urge the authorities to resolve the CNG crisis.
Haikadi Shrinath Rao, an industrial pharmaceutical professional and founder of the Association, said they held their Perdanian meeting at a school in Honakkate on Sunday.
He told Stoi that there was a large gap between the request and supply of CNG in Mangaluru, which is currently diverted through Bengaluru.
Kochi-Mangaluru Natural Gas Pipes from Gail (India) Ltd.
was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in January this year.
“With the increase in gasoline prices, there is a big demand for CNG, which requires the cost of Rs 55 per kg.
Of the five bunks that issued CNG, only two that function regularly, serve around 700 CNG-Run vehicles,” he said.
Furthermore, Shrinath added that the purpose of their relationship was urging the government to ensure that CNG users tanks rose without delay, as with vehicles running on gasoline and diesel.
“We relate to Gail officials, and they have assured us that a mother station will be established earliest.
More vehicles will be used to transport CNG from Bengaluru,” he said.
Poornima R K Bhat, the Founder-Director of the Arivu-Center Intervention Center and also members of the Association, said CNG users have networked through WhatsApp.
“Most of them floated waiting in a long queue to refuel.
There is an Instance of Driver that reaches the station as early as 5 in the morning and late at night.
The delegation will meet MP and MLA, looking for their intervention to solve the problem.
By unrolling, we pay attention Large demand for CNG vehicles, and the consequences in a hurry in the bed throw it away, “he said.
Bharath Prabhu, owner of the Mangalore service station (Kavoor), said consumers were worried about the widening gaps between demand and supply.
“Be aware of the problem, the company works to solve the same thing,” he said.
Sources of Gail Gas Ltd said 600-700kg CNG is available in Mangalaru every day, and the quantity is expected to increase to more than 1,000 kg in August, with the fourth vehicle commissioning for transportation from Bengaluru.
“Also, the work of establishing a maternal station in Panambur will be completed in mid-September.
After being assigned, the CNG supply will be smooth,” the source explained.
