Mangaluru: Four family members were found dead in their home located in the Morgans gate area on Wednesday.
A 30-year-old man was accused of killing his wife and two children before he died of suicide.
Nagesh, who worked as a driver, was found hanging from the ceiling of his house.
Introduction Investigation revealed that the wife of Nagesh Vijyalakshmi (26), who worked as a security guard, Putri Sapna (8) and Son Samarth (4), was reportedly poisoned to death.
The family comes from Sunag Village in Bilati Taluk in the Bagalkot district and has rented a house only 15 days ago.
“Vijyalakshmi has been lost recently after Nagesh has filed a complaint disappearing with the South Mangaloru police,” police said.
The police said that the case was closed after he returned home after a few days.
DCP Hariram Shankar and Commissioner of the city of N Shashi Kumar along with the official team went to the place where the incident occurred.
