Mangaluru: Lusters died of an accident on the subrahmanya-uppinangady highway

Mangaluru: Male Leopard died in an accident reported near Kadaba in Subrahmanya-Uppinangady Highway.
The incident was revealed on Monday morning.
Panja Range Forest Officer Manjunath N told Ti that the leopard was dead after it might be hit by a vehicle that moved on Sunday night.
When receiving information, a forest official team led by ACF Praveen Kumar Shetty visited the place.
Postmortem was carried out by veterinarian Dr.
Ajith and the report was awaited.
The case has been registered, after which investigation will be taken with court permission.
The vehicle suspected of hitting a wild cat has not been identified, the officer said, confirming the presence of leopards in the area.
