Noida: Secretary General of Congress Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has assured that the problem of farmers and home buyers here will be included in the Manifesto for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly poll, said the party’s office carrier here on Wednesday.
Farmers from villages in Noida and Noida are greater protesting for a long time during various demands, including climbing compensation for their land, while thousands of home buyers suffer due to delays in several years in getting their flat ownership, they said.
Deputy Head of the Party of Social Media Unit in the state, Pankhuri Pathak, and the leader of Anil Yadav at Lucknow met Priyanka, who was on a 5-day tour of Uttar Pradesh.
“Various problems about Noida are discussed during meetings and we value them about the problem of residents here.
This includes sustainable protests by farmers and home buyers too,” said Pathak.
“Priyankaji has assured that all these problems will be taken by the party in the coming days for their resolution.
He also said this problem would be included in the Congress manifesto for the upcoming poll,” he added.
Yadav said during the meeting, the Secretary General of the Party also raised concerns over unemployment, poor law and the situation of order and the salvation of women in the state.
“He has instructed party workers in Noida to continue to improve this issue, especially about women’s unemployment and safety,” he said.
