Manika Sheokand on a mission to reduce carbon footprint

Carbon footprint is a very technical term.
To simplify it â € “carbon footprint is the total greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) caused by individuals, organizations, places, or products, declared equivalent to carbon dioxide.
And naturally, in advising people about their contributions to reduce carbon footprint, they respond to How can they create a big impact to save the environment?
Today, we have our powerful Queen, VLCC Femina Miss Grand India 2020 Manika Sheokand is open about how conscious choices can save our planet.
A chemical engineer by the profession, Manika has lived a life like a true queen and always does a little for the community and the mother of the earth.
Although the fresher in his work, Manika took the initiative and participated in the project to learn, compare, and reduce the carbon footprint of the company.
“When you work in a company, you have the right to question about their GHG emissions.
It is your responsibility as a citizen to ask about steps taken to reduce the same, and this is part of realizing your environment, and” him cry out.
Talking about the previous organization, his heart swelled proudly because they took all steps to reduce carbon footprint.
Manika said the company signed up for the carbon disclosure project (CDP), which was a bold step because they had to disclose the amount of carbon they produced.
Furthermore, setting realistic targets, they examined ways to reduce emissions and enthusiastically reach their targets.
He feels all the companies must also take such initiatives because the next big game is about who is more environmentally friendly.
With power by producing the best products and perfect marketing strategies, they also have to be environmentally friendly because people today are more like to go to environmentally friendly items.
“If the Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg can challenge world leaders at the age of 14 to take immediate action to mitigate climate change, the conscious choices made by every Indian, more than 1.3 billion, will definitely make an important impact on the environment,” concluded Manika.
