Hyderabad: Southwest Monsun has been active for Telangana, with many districts that record heavy rain to heavy rains up to 20 cm, triggering flash floods in several places.
The Indian Meteorology Department, Hyderabad, has estimated that rainfall will continue for the next two to three days.
According to the People’s Development Planning Society, until 8pm on Monday Bhainsa in the Nirmal District recorded 13 CMS rain followed by 11 CMS in Basar in Nirmal, and 10.9 CMS in Shankarampet in Medak Regency, among others.
On August 29, several places in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Siddipet, Warangal Rural Regency and Komaram Bheem recorded heavy rain until heavy rains nearly 20 cm.
