Hyderabad: Even though the Telangana Government has decided to reopen all educational institutions from September 1, many parents are still not ready to send their children to school.
Most parents, especially those consisting of elementary and secondary school students, do not want to send their wards.
They are not ready to take risks as a Covid-19 case continuing and vaccines for children are still not available.
Safe! You have managed to throw your votelogin to see the frightened results of those who contract Covid can encourage most parents not to send them for physical classes immediately but wait a few weeks before making decisions.
The state government on Monday decided to reopen all educational institutions from KG to PG in all states from September 1.
The decision was taken by the Chairperson of the Minister of K.
Chandrasekhar Rao at the meeting with Minister of Education P.
Sabitha Indra Reddy and senior officials.
With the health department official who stated in their report that the Covid situation in the state was under control, the main minister announced that all educational institutions including the Angandwadis would be reopened.
The Ministry of Education officials told the meeting because of the continuing closure of educational institutions, students, especially school children, have been under psychological pressure and this might have an impact on their future.
Given this and after studying all aspects and after seeing all, the head of the Minister decided that all educational institutions must be reopened with precautions.
Some countries including Andhra Pradesh have reopened school.
The neighboring country reopened school a week ago.
However, on the day the Telangana Government made a decision to reopen all educational institutions, four school students managed by the government in Krishna District Andhra Pradeshuji positive for Covid-19 in testing random samples carried out on Monday.
Some government school students in Guntur and Prakasam Regency have also been tested positively Covid after reopening schools in the state on August 16.
The decision of the Telangana Government to open all educational institutions has been criticized from parents.
“Instead of opening all institutions in one GO, the government should announce this gradually.
Schools above the eighth standard must be reopened first and if everything goes well, physical classes can be continued for others,” said P.
Mohan Reddy, whose son is a fifth-class student in a private school in Hyderabad.
Parents remember that the lack of proper planning has caused school closure within a few days after reopening in February.
After a gap of nearly 11 months, educational institutions in the state have been reopened in February this year.
However, due to a surge in Covid-19 cases during the second wave, they were closed on March 24.
The media reports about experts warning the possibility of the third wave played in the mind of parents.
“Experts do not override the third wave.
There are also reports that children may be the worst affected by the third wave.
In such situations, how can we take risks,” Asked Syed Ashfaq, the third child was in primary and secondary school.
While parents agree that sustainable school closure takes victims on the psychological health of children, they want to wait more time to see how the pandemic situation develops before making a decision.
“There is still no vaccine for children.
If they are fully immunized, parents may be ready to send them but at this point not many want,” said Ayesha Fatima, a teacher in a private school.
He pointed out that when school has been reopened for grade 7 and above in February, the presence of only 25-30 percent.
The lack of clarity about online classes has also landed parents in the dilemma.
While announcing the reopening of all educational institutions, the government does not clarify whether an online class will continue for students whose parents are not ready to send them to physical classes.
Most parents have the view that the government must continue the online class until the threat of a pandemic is completely removed.
