Islamabad: Taliban fighters killed two protesters and injured 12 others in the eastern city of Jalalabad on Wednesday during protest demonstrations against the takeover of Afghanistan forcibly forcibly.
The militants shot into the crowd after beating protesters who tried to issue a white Taliban banner with an Islamic inscription and replace it with a green, red and black flag in the country.
The shooting was also reported from the Central Square in the Daronta District, right outside Jalalabad, when the people there also replaced the Taliban flag.
There are also reports and video violence in the Southeast City of Khost, with several reports showing that death and injury have occurred in anti-Taliban demonstrations there.
A video shared on social media shows people who ride on the road in Khost, with a gunshot in the background.
The militants have confiscated Jalalabad, the provincial capital of Nangarhar along the border with Pakistan, hours before the fall of Kabul without resistance after negotiating the agreement with local leaders.
In resistance performances, hundreds of Jalalabad residents marched through the city center to wave the flag of the Republic of Afghanistan, whistling and shouting anti-Taliban slogans.
Many protesters rise to buildings at the busiest intersection of the city, Pashtunistan Square, to replace the Taliban flag with a national flag.
When guerrillas were fired to dissolve the crowd, some people fled while others continued their demonstration, whistling and cheering.
Some shooting videos have been uploaded on social media.
“We are not afraid of the violence of these barbarians.
We will protest again to prevent the Taliban to tarnish Afghan flags,” said one of the protesters in a video post.
Meanwhile, an Afghan journalist, Hafizullah Maroof, tweeted that “colleagues (journalista) in the city cried after being beaten by Taliban fighters while covering the protest”.
People also went out to the streets in Asadabad, the capital of Kunar, because of anger in the Taliban takeover grew.
The incident of violence continued in this country as former Afghan President Hamid Karzai and former Foreign Minister Abdullah Abdullah, a leading political figure in Afghanistan, met with Taliban representatives in Kabul.
They also met Anas Haqqani, a senior leader of Taliban and son of Jalaluddin Haqqani, a founder of Haqqani’s skin, which was declared a terrorist group by Washington in 2012.
Mohammad Yusof Saha, spokesman Karzai, said that this meeting would eventually facilitate negotiations.
With Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the top Taliban political leader, who has landed in Afghanistan on Tuesday.
Despite the announcement of the Taliban about the general amnesty and their attraction to people to live in the country, thousands of people desperately trying to escape amid fears will return to the brutal regime of 1996-2001 Taliban.
Many urban people are suspicious of the sequence of events that begin after the Taliban gain control of the border crossing with neighboring countries.
This was followed by rebels who captured the capital of Afghanistan province one by one, and finally entered Kabul, in just 10 days.
“This is a big blow because it has suffocated the communication of Jalan Afghanistan Ghani with its neighbors.
It seems that the Taliban has been authorized through understanding.
If the US wants peace in this country, they need some sort of looking for such.
Understanding between Kabul and Taliban instead of signing an agreement with Militants without involving the Afghan government, “said a faculty member at Jalalabad State University.
Another faculty member, a professor at the same university, doubted the city surrender quickly in the presence of 350,000 trained Afghan troops.
“Professional troops do not fight without the command of the officers.
It seems that the top civil and military leadership does not have a clear strategy on how to direct and mobilize the right power,” the professor argued.
He said the Afghan forces seemed to be trained to fight together with Western forces under their command and supervision.
“They experienced demoralization by their Western partner departure and the absence of an efficient command structure in their ranks,” he added.
