Ranchi: Maois damaged the railway between Chichanki and Karma Bandh train stations in Girech under the Dinanbad Rail Division at Jharkhand at around 12:30 a.m.
on Thursday night to mark Bandh throughout the day.
After the incident, the train authority stopped the movement of all trains in the Gomoh-style train section on the route of the HOWRA-New Delhi for passenger safety.
Among the trains affected were Dhanbad-Patna Express, Humate -Lumbar Express, Ranchi-Lokmaya Tilak Terminus Express, Howrah Jodhpur Express and Kalka-Howrah Express.
Railroad officials say that damage caused by corrected tracks and tracks are declared suitable for the train movement with 6.35 in the morning.
Next, the route from several trained trains is restored.
Police said that they were conducting a search operation in the area.
