Chaibasa: Members of the CPI (Maoist) Politburo, Bandra and members of their troops managed to escape after a meeting with security forces in the West Jharkhand Singhbhum district, police said on Monday.
Acting on Tip-Off, Jharkhand Police and CRPF launched a search operation where Maois opened fire on them, where security forces replied, leading to fierce weapons battle in the forest between Tumbahaka and Sarjamburu in the Tonto police station on Sunday, police supervisor Ajay Linda said.
