Nagpur: The Communist Party of India which was prohibited (Maois) has denied issuing the threat to Gadchiroli District Minister Sues Eknath Shinde, labeled that the ‘action’ of popularity by the Minister, in a press release.
Shinde a few days ago claimed to have received a threatening letter from Maois, vowed to eliminate him to avenge their cadre without stopping death and also some of the main leaders.
The threat was issued through a letter allegedly sent by the Bhamragarh Area Committee.
This kasing is now being investigated by Thane City police.
Clarifying their stands, spokesman for the West Maoiss Regional Bureau Shrinivas has stated through a press communication that the Minister has used claims for publicity threats.
Hitting the Minister of the Minister and Supreme Vikas Aghadi, Maois claimed the leaders only ‘brokers’ from mining companies who faced a mass protest full of turmoil in Surjagarh.
Maois also claimed that leaders such as Shinde and cabinet colleagues Vijay Wadettiwar could not face the masses now because they opposed the mass step, which has now opposed mining in the district.
