Maois Torch 18 vehicles to oppose street work close to Abhujmadh

Nagpur: Maois has made 18 vehicles involved on the construction of a road to oppose road connectivity from Dhondraj to Kawande Village in Bhamragarh Taluka from South Gadchiroli.
More than a dozen tractors, two JCBs and several loaders are among the damaged vehicles in combustion.
The incident, which occurred between Irpnar and Kucher Village, was studied to take the district security and administrative forces to be surprised.
Pamphlets and banners were found on the site Arson revealed that Maois demanded to stop at the Surjagarh mining site in Etapalli among other problems.
They have claimed the tribes are robbed by JAL (water), forest (forest) and zameen (soil) with the pretext of development.
The Reformer of the Bamragonarh Committee from the Communist Party which is prohibited by India (MAOIS) has claimed responsibility for combustion.
The source said that the Gadchiroli police have received information about the presence of Maois in the area.
Operations are also launched but cannot produce results because the plan has been exposed.
Police said the ‘Action Team’ Maois along with mass militias or local supporters, amounted to around 35-40, focused on the construction site.
Maois asked the tractor driver to assemble vehicles in one place and burn them using their diesel.
Rebels left after tie banners and left the pamphlet.
Stretching also functions as the gateway to the Abhujmadh region on the border of Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh, which is considered a Maoist camp and den from their top leaders.
SP Ankit Goyal said that Maois tried to show or prove their presence by setting a burning vehicle.
“Arson is the most risky step for Maois because there is no troubled against security forces.
They often use such activities to remain relevant in the minds of the masses,” he said and added, “the path that was opposed by Maoist would help the whole hour with deeper connectivity and Faster.
“The senior police also feel Maois can use combustion as a trap to ‘call ambush’.
Immediately after security forces proceeded to the place for investigations, Maois could try to surround the police party from all sides.
The road, which can help connect long-distance hamlets, is likely to be seen by Maois as a facility that will be used by security forces to reach interior bags as deep as rebel bases in Abhujmadh.
In Chhattisgarh too, Maois has done a simultaneous combustion targeting vehicle used for road construction.
