Gumla: Security forces on Thursday were shot down by Zonal Dreaded CPI Commander (Maois), Oraon Budeshwar (46), during a meeting in the forest near Kochagani Village under the Kurumgarh police station, police said.
Security forces also confiscated rifles and ak 47 bullets from the place.
Oraon is a member of the Bihar-Jharkhand Regional Committee CPI (Maois) and brings a cash prize of RS 15 Lakh.
He was a resident of Pakartoli Village under the conscious police station.
Oraon was shot dead two days after the start of the anti-naxal operation in the area.
