Hyderabad: MAOIS aged 65 years from Bhadradri District Kothagudem in Telangana surrendered before the police commissioner Khammam on Friday.
E Seetharam Reddy alias Naganna is a member of the Division Committee of the East Division Malkangiri, the Special Zonal Committee of the Andhra Odisha (AOBSZC) border.
He has become an underground cadre (UG) from a group forbidden for 38 years of student union and the activities of the Radical Youth League, Commissioner Khammam Wisnu S Warrier.
In 1981, Reddy joined Bhadrachalam Bhadrachalam in and in 1982 he was promoted as a commander in to work with Shabari, Venkatapuram and Rampachaodavaram in the inside.
In April 1985, he was arrested by the police and submitted in the center prison of Rajahmundry until 1987.
After leaving the prison, Reddy returned to his village and took agricultural activities.
In 1992, he returned to join the People’s War group and worked in Rangue in the Malkangiri until 1999.
In 2002 he moved to the East AOB Area Committee and in 2008 he became a member of the Division Committee.
“From 2008 and so on, he had taken political classes to party cadres,” Commissioner said.
Because of poor health, starting in 2018 and so on, he has lived with the sympathizers of the Maoist party in the AOB area and on Friday, surrendered before Commissioner Khammam.
The state government will submit Rs 5 Lakh to Rehabilitation and Rs 10,000 for direct costs, the commissioner said.
